What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at DOMA Technologies?
This role at DOMA is a byproduct of our sustained growth in the Federal, Commercial, and SLED markets. The PM will report to our Director of Program Management as part of our Digitization and Software Support Team, leveraging resources within our Digital Conversion and IT/DEVOPS teams to deploy solutions to new and existing customers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable dealing with customers at all levels and will bring project management methodologies to bear in support of those customers. The PMs portfolio will consist of a range of small to midsized jobs and will be a blend of digitization, software, and hybrid. PMs should be comfortable managing projects ranging from $25k - $1M in annual revenue.
\n- Manages the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation, and quality assurance in accordance with project objectives.
- Formulates and enforces work standards, subcontractor management and performance, and customer satisfaction and alignment with the objectives of a project.
- Determines the appropriate documentation (project plan, communication plan, schedules/timelines, status reports, quality plan, closure summary, budget, risk plan, etc.) for projects as needed.
- Provides successful service delivery across all project areas including monitoring programs to ensure it follows a well-defined and detailed work scope, schedule, and budget; and meets technical and performance requirements.
- Manages client relationships and serves as the primary point of contact for those clients within DOMA. Regularly communicates with customers/clients to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss any program problems.
- Integrates various other resources and stakeholders within DOMA to ensure effective client support.
- Manages resources across projects, and maintains/tracks contract deliverables, schedule, and budget.
- Organizes, understands, and maintains up-to-date contract documents.
- Recommends changes to improve processes and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication.
- Owns change order process including determining the need for a new Statement of Work versus a Change Order.
- Ensures conformity to contractual obligations; establishes and maintains technical and financial reports to show project.
- Ensures appropriate management, customer and supplier involvement throughout the life of the project.
- Ensures that projects adhere to quality control standards such as reporting and issues tracking.
- Responsible for identifying follow-on business opportunities associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading relatively small proposals or assisting with major proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience as a Project Manager, Project Lead, Business Analyst, or other relevant role
- PMP certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Working knowledge with ISO 9001:2015 a plus
