What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Driver position at Domestic Uniform Rental?
Shuttle Driver
We are looking for a dependable Shuttle Driver to join our growing team here at Domestic Uniform Rental, where we have been providing the industry’s best service to our customers for over 90 years!
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain a fleet truck with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of at least 26,000 pounds.
- Accurately load and unload rolling racks of clean and soiled merchandise and ensure the correct product is transported to and from the plant and service centers five days per week.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections, and report vehicle damage or defects, as well as traffic accidents and violations.
- Follow proper vehicle operation and documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain and update detailed daily driver activity log.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid commercial driver’s license with an excellent driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen and meet the physical requirements for the position including lifting at least 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 75 pounds.
- Previous experience operating a commercial fleet truck preferred
