The Position:
Client: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania – Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC)
Position Title: PTC - SAP ABAP Developer SPS2 (720509)
Location: Remote Off-Site with Client in Middletown, PA
Duration: Initial term through 06/30/2024 ( Annual Renewal in 1-Year Terms)
Note: This is a remote position until further notice. In addition to the PA ePATCH background check, PTC requires a National Criminal Background Check prior to engagement start.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) is seeking a SAP ABAP Developer. The SAP ABAP Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, unit testing, debugging, and implementing SAP ABAP applications. The developer is expected to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions to customers, while adhering to development standards and methodologies. The SAP ABAP Developer should possess strong application development and system integration skills. This person works as part of the Enterprise Development team and must be able to perform code reviews with peers, recognizing good programming techniques and correcting coding problems. Moreover, the Developer should have expertise in the following areas: ABAP/UI5/HTML with BTP and Fiori. It is essential to be familiar with all the latest best practices for S/4 HANA/BTP development.

- 8 Years: SAP ABAP/4 programming
- 8 Years: BAPIs, BADIs
- 8 Years: IDOCs
- 8 Years: LSMW
- 8 Years: Reports
- 8 Years: SAP Scripts
- 8 Years: Writing user exits
- 8 Years: BDC Coding
- 8 Years: Developing and maintaining SAP design and technical specification documents, and assist in defining and documenting SAP Best Practices.
