Position Summary
Domo is changing the way Executives manage their business. Pivotal within the most innovative business management platform. As a program manager at Domo, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using engineering expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional infrastructure software engineering programs in a matrix organization covering a range of areas
- Manage stakeholder relationships: identify and establish partnership with stakeholders to build support and secure sponsorship
- Help address common issues across different initiatives for smoother and timely execution
- Implement a clear, pro-active program communication plan
- Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery
- Provide hands on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases
- Perform risk management and change management on projects
- Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions
- Interface with Engineering and business owners for project requirements and scope
Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience in software development and project/program management fundamentals (software development life cycles and quality processes, scope, cost, schedule, deliverables, change management, risk management)
- Very strong oral and written communication skills. You will be evaluated on your business and technical acumen
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and develop multifaceted solutions
- Strong Presentation skills
- Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands & priorities; sense of urgency
- Highly collaborative style with strong influencing skills
- Prefer candidates with a technical degree or experience as a software engineer
