Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Strategize, implement and manage recruiting and staffing processes and practices for the business to identify, source and attract top talent.
• This position will report directly to the CFO and will entail approximately 40-50 per week, generally between 8:00am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Some responsibilities may dictate working hours outside of this timeframe to complete workload and out of town travel.
• The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a self-starter who multi-tasks well with excellent communication, organizational and prioritizing skills. This position demonstrates a passion for the recruiting and sourcing functions, the Company and for building relationships.
• The Talent Acquisition Specialist shall develop relationships with leaders of referral sources including, but not limited to: high schools, technical schools, colleges, universities, job training programs, workforce development and other community resources.
• The Talent Acquisition Specialist shall promote the Company's commitment to diversity and inclusion in a manner supporting the organization's mission and vision by networking with community agencies, professional associations, education, institutions, and attending various events and job fairs. This position will implement talent acquisition strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse candidates and shall follow procedures for meeting "good faith efforts" to achieving EEO and Affirmative Action Compliance requirements.
• The Talent Acquisition Specialist shall pre-screen all applicable candidate, recommending candidates to the hiring manager based on detailed requirements of position and job competencies as well as provide the manager with reasoning for advancing or declining candidates.
• The Talent Acquisition Specialist will establish and promote positive, professional working relationships and remain engaged with hiring managers and senior management to stay abreast of hiring needs.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years of previous recruiting/sourcing experience
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated high level of professionalism, relationship building, and organizational skills
• Proven experience sourcing technical and trade-based roles beneficial
• Bilingual a plus
• Construction experience a plus
