Job Summary

The Corporate Compliance Analyst will report to our Senior Corporate Compliance Analyst and will work to ensure that the activities of the company comply with laws and regulations applicable to the insurance industry.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Intake, preliminary review, coordination, filing, distribution, and tracking of compliance correspondence and documents sent from insurance departments, government offices, vendors, and other third parties
  • Review regulatory bulletins and other sources of information to research and stay up-to-date on regulations
  • Communicate regulatory changes to applicable departments and oversee required changes to systems and processes
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues
  • Arrange continuing contacts and resolve concerns to maintain rapport with regulatory personnel
  • Manage, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
  • Ensure duties are performed in adherence to all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations
  • Collaborate and help develop a Compliance team that is viewed as a well-regarded and highly-valued strategic partner to the Company
  • Support the Senior Corporate Compliance Analyst and the corporate compliance operations
  • Compile reports of significant Compliance activities for use by the Senior Corporate Compliance Analyst and Chief Compliance Officer
  • Support and delivery of other assignments and special projects for Legal and Compliance operations where needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Property & Casualty Insurance Industry designation(s) preferred
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in the property and casualty industry and/or compliance departments handling multiple facets of a corporate compliance program
  • Strong understanding of the relationships between insurer, agent, insured, insurance laws/regulations, and structure of an insurance company
  • Legal, regulatory or insurance compliance experience
  • Ability to interface and work with all levels of company managements in handling compliance tasks and initiatives
