Summary: We are seeking an Audit Clerk to perform various office duties
Location: Albany, NY 12234
Target Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 4:30PM
Target Duration/End Date: March 2024
Description of Roles and Responsibilities:
· Create inventory of approved reimbursement requests by item and enter excel file for federal reporting purposes
· Communicate with nonpublic school representatives to identify remaining inventory of previous reimbursement requests and update tracking documents
· Communicate with nonpublic schools regarding purchase requests. Provide options for furniture and technology
· Prepare data to send to purchasing unit for final purchases
· Review purchase orders and invoices for purchases. Enter Salesforce and update our tracking documents. Send schools a sign off form to confirm receipt of inventory
· Review Memorandum of Understanding submissions from educational support service vendors and compare to school allocations and allowable use of funds
· Work on FOIL requests
Mandatory/Minimum Qualification, Skills, Experience Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred. And at least two years of relevant experience
Qualification, Skills, Experience Requirements:
· Basic bookkeeping, accounting, and financial recordkeeping
· Computing, classifying, and recording numerical data
· Performing routine calculations, posting, and verification of financial data to maintain accounting records
· Verifying the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings of business transactions
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to, Outlook, Word, and Excel
