SUMMARY:
Collaborates with campus personnel in interpreting and enforcing compulsory attendance laws and resolving student truancy, excessive absences and tardiness issues. Works closely with campus to develop processes/activities to increase enrollment. Assist students and parents in analyzing, understanding, and seeking solutions to the problems of school attendance. Promote positive public relations between the school district and community. Distribute pertinent information about the district's attendance policies and regulations.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma
Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
Valid Texas Drivers License

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, students, and parents, and the general community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Occasional absences are understood but regular attendance is required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, occasionally walk and stand, talk or hear and travel from one building to another or to other sites. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. Light to moderate lifting is required.
Frequent driving to other sites is required. This position requires meeting deadlines with severe constraints, interacting with the public and staff, and enduring irregular or extended work hours
The employee must maintain emotional control under stress.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet but varies depending upon the site and the activity being conducted. The employee regularly works indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to extreme temperatures.
