About us
The Doolittle Home is a multi-level facility with a 23-bed residential care unit and a nine-bed nursing unit which offers an around-the-clock staff of licensed/registered nurses and certified nursing assistants. We are a private pay facility & follow the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and do not accept Medicare, Medicaid or Mass Health.
We are looking for a reliable, upbeat & positive RN or LPN to work 24-32 hours per week including every other weekend on the 3p-11p shift
Requirements:
*Valid nursing license in Massachusetts is required
* Prior experience long-term care is preferred
* Understands advanced directives and end-of-life care
* Understands the nursing function in a rest home setting
* Understands quality of care objectives
Responsibilities:
* Interacting with residents and families on a daily basis
*Provide supervision of CNA and assist with care as needed
* Utilizing customer service skills
* Handling advanced directives and end-of-life care
* Following policies to ensure proper procedures are followed
* Administers medications and provides treatments to residents
*Communicates with physician as needed
