Apprenticeship Description
Garage Service:
- Gain new knowledge of installing garage doors, garage mechanics, and residential repairs.
- Gain skills of garage mechanics.
- Train to install garage doors and materials.
- Instructional usage of tools such as drills, 5-in-1 screwdriver, wrench, and vice grips.
- Improve current skills and competency in an occupational role.
- Work toward achieving the competencies set out in the training plan.
- Gain Full-Time Position.
- Communicate and maintain a positive relationship with Superintendents, other contractors, fellow employees, and homeowners.
Requirements
- Must have positive attitude and great work ethic
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check upon hire
- 5 Year MVR required upon hire
- Must have valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Willingness to be diversified and trained in different divisions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Must be within 30 mile radius of Conyers GA
- Nonsmoking environment
