Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Advanced Practice Registered Nursing (APRN)
- Current New York State Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant license, valid and in good standing
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team, especially in stressful situations
- Ability to work well with a team
- Ability to maintain professionalism with patients and teammates
- Able to work 2-3 days a week (16 - 24 hours per week)
Compensation:
- Pay rate: $160,000 to 185,000 Based on experience
