POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an AVP, DHW (Door Hardware)/EAD (Electronic Access Data) to join our Field Services team in Indianapolis, IN. This position is responsible for adding value to the organization by playing a leading role in ensuring the effective execution of our core field operational duties. The consistent implementation of solutions, processes and best practices that will improve field productivity and labor utilization is the central responsibility. This role will also work closely with Sales Teams to ensure visibility into Service offerings.


PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Leads and manages all aspects of the team’s talent including but not limited talent acquisition, talent management, coaching and counseling, and training and development to achieve optimal performance by embracing and practicing dormakaba’ s Leadership fundamentals
  • Works with the DHW/EAD Sales Leaders and Sales Teams to align resources and promote the Field Services Option in all sales calls for revenue development and growth initiatives.
  • Focused discipline to ensure all labor hours are captured against jobs so that metrics are established to review and bench-mark labor utilization rates, burdened labor rates and overtime spend
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce non-productive labor spending patterns
  • Closely monitor the variances in materials and labor in coordination with Regional Teams so that expected planned margins are fully realised
  • Preparation of monthly revenue forecasts against Budget plans
  • Monitoring of work progress to ensure invoicing is completed in a compliant and timely manner
  • Ensure that Regional Teams have regular, timely and recorded toolbox meetings to cascade relevant issues regarding our organisation, products and safety requirements.
  • Ensure disciplines are in place so all installation projects are fully and correctly closed within the database systems, including project notes, equipment Id’s setup and warranty commitments established for future customer support and/or maintenance programs

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years in leading field teams and/or project management
  • Must travel up to 50%
  • A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required for this position
