What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Dormer Harpring, LLC?

You’ll act as the first point of contact for the business, answer phone calls, schedule meetings, handle mail and deliveries, act as a backup intake specialist, help with processing and mailing checks, and handle basic office management tasks like ordering supplies, preparing the conference room for meetings, keeping the kitchen organized, and more.
We're a small Plaintiffs' personal injury law firm located in the Five Points / RiNo neighborhoods of Denver and operating state-wide. We are a relaxed but team-focused environment with generous benefits. We are looking for a long-term hire that can grow with our firm.
- Assure incoming and outgoing mail is managed appropriately and handle deliveries
- Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc.
- Answer phone calls and emails and communicate relevant information to the appropriate parties
- Give every employee, client, and visitor a warm welcome at the front desk and communicate any important information or directions
- Make appointments for employees and ensure the calendar is current and correct
- Backup our intake specialist for new potential client calls.
- Minor office care such as starting and unloading the dishwasher, ordering and stocking office supplies, cleaning and preparing the conference room for visitors, and occasionally taking out large boxes or trash to the complex dumpsters.
- Scanning medical records received in the mail for client files
- Assisting with logistics planning for office or firm events such as booking reservations and making food and drink orders.
