Job Description
The QA Manager will take ownership of all quality, food safety and USDA.
Responsibilities:
-He or she is responsible for developing and maintaining our quality management and food safety systems.
-The FSQA will create, monitor and advise on how the system is performing, which may often include the publication of statistics regarding company performance against set measures. A key role of the Manager of Quality & Foods Safety is that of ensuring that customer requirements and expectations have been accurately identified and that the organization is meeting or exceeding customer/consumer expectations. ·
-This role may also extend to determining how customer/consumer expectations will change over time and what the organization needs to do to meet these changing expectations. Additionally, he or she will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of a customer/consumer-focused culture within the quality organization
-The FSQA will also be instrumental in developing the quality goals and targets in the organization’s continually evolving strategic plan.
-Leads the development and oversees implementation of FSQA protection policies and programs. Provides technical expertise to the organization in FSQA, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action. Keeps all documents and records as per customer and certification requirements
-These services include, but are not limited to; developing and maintaining all USDA regulatory policies and procedures including HACCP, SOPs, SSOPs, and GMPs
-3rd party audits, SQF audits, micro and ATP testing, pest control, development and training of QC techs, and assessing needs and facilitating communication among employees and management.
Requirements:
2 years in FSQA or related role
HACCP Certified (required)

Experience:
- HACCP: 1 year (Preferred)
- Root cause analysis: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
