HR/Payroll Assistant
Dover Behavioral Health System is a 104-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Dover, Delaware area. Dover Behavioral Health System features individual units for adolescents and adults and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Essential Job duties:
- Support Human Resources with administrative needs, new hire paperwork, I-9 submissions, employee recognition. Must be able to work in a face paced, high volume environment, organization, and multitasking is paramount!
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Support Payroll & Accounting with payroll, accounts payable, and clerical needs
- Assist collecting and processing information for the hospital’s bi-weekly payroll process; Enter time clock corrections into the Kronos system.
- Assist in reconciling payroll with source documents.
- Review financial data to discover outstanding invoices.
- Assist processing and reconcile the petty cash process for the facility.
- Assist with the daily cash journal preparation for all incoming cash.
- Works with Utilization Management to maximize payables and performs third party and self-pay follow-up as required.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma, associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Health Care experience strongly preferred.
- Self-driven and able to meet deadlines is a must.
