Job Details
MAJOR FOCUS:
The Manager of Compliance will manage and coordinate operational compliance activities and property compliance team members. This person will act as a liaison between Bally’s Dover Casino Resort, the Delaware State Lottery, and other government entities and ensures compliance with all regulations associated there in.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Directs and monitors compliance activities for the jurisdiction of Delaware, to include all components required under the Corporate Compliance Program.
- Have a complete understanding of the Delaware State Regulations and the Delaware State Lottery Minimal Internal Control Standards (MICS).
- Ensures Delaware Lottery requirements are fully complied with and liaises with Bally’s counsel in this regard when necessary.
- Responsible for handling all day-to-day communications with the Delaware State Lottery.
- Responsible for monitoring the Self-Exclusion list from the Delaware State Lottery.
- Responsible for the Bally’s Dover Internal Control Submission.
- Responsible for change requests related to the Bally’s Dover Internal Control Submission.
- Keeps property updated of all changes made to the Delaware State Lottery Minimal Internal Control Standards (MICS).
- Reviews regulatory submissions for promotions and/or events to ensure they follow the Bally’s Dover Internal Controls.
- Responsible for the Title 31 Regulatory Requirements and all submission requirements.
- Responsible for compiling all data from the Everi Compliance system daily to file CTRs and SARs.
- Responsible for property Anti Money Laundering program and submission requirements.
- Coordinates meetings for SAR reviews and file reports as necessary.
- Performs functions and report regulatory issues to prevent violations and ensure compliance.
- Performs daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly regulatory inspections throughout all departments.
- Coordinates and conduct quarterly compliance meetings.
- Assists the Info Technology department with the Key Watcher Automated Key System.
- Completes monthly and quarterly reports to the Delaware State Lottery.
- Ensure all employees receive Title 31 training.
- Responsible for original application and renewal of state and local licensing and permitting including Liquor permits, tax licenses and city permits.
- Represents Bally’s Dover in the most positive manner with guest, co-workers, management team, and vendors.
- Supports all departments to be compliant with governmental agencies.
- Completes special projects as requested by management.
- Performs other Corporate Compliance functions as requested.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Distribute results and corrective actions related to internal and external audits.
- Coordinates and responds to subpoena requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of two years work related experience in a regulatory position.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret gaming statues, rules, and regulations.
- Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, and procedures from an operational perspective, identify any relevant concerns, and formulate or provide input for solutions.
- Ability to manage multi-faceted projects to a successful conclusion.
- Ability to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English and effectively communicate in English, both oral and written forms.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
- Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and receive a license from the DE Lottery
