REQUIREMENTS: -Current Elementary Michigan Certification
  • -Must be Highly Qualified
  • -Knowledge of a variety of research-based instructional practices (such as
Differentiated Instruction)
  • -Strong Classroom Management Skills
  • -Strong Mathematical Background
  • -Ability to disaggregate data for planning and prescriptive student
educational plans (such as NWEA, M-Step, Running Records, DRA)
  • -Strong Literacy Background
  • -Ability to work effectively with a diverse cultural, racial and
socio-economic student population
PREFERENCES:
-Ability to utilize technology to enhance instruction
  • -Ability to work as a member of a team
