Position Opportunity
The Pre-Clean Technician I responsibility is to ensure customer products are cleaned to their specifications. Under close supervision, this position will be responsible for maintaining cleaning and proper housekeeping standards consistent clean room requirements.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Maintains work area up to cleanroom standards
- Keep operation of tanks; including cleaning and filling tanks
- Use and maintain calibrated equipment
- Perform degreasing operations
- Work with various chemicals such as acetone, IPA, and solvents
- Analyze and implement projects in compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws
Other Duties / Responsibilities
- Assist other technicians as needed
- Compliant with all training, quality, compliance and safety policies, practices and procedures
- All other responsibilities assigned by Lead or Manager
Qualifications
Education/Training/Certifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Manufacturing and/or cleanroom experience preferred. Manufacturing or Lab experience is a plus
Related Experience: Entry level
Overtime: Willing and able to work overtime, including holidays, weekends, and on short notice call in as required. 10-20% overtime to be expected.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read and understand work instructions from Production Management System (ICMS), documents, correspondence and memos.
- Effective communication skills which include verbal and written in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to wear a respirator as needed
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions. Should be able to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Moderate computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Legal capacity to comply with federally mandated requirements of the U.S. Export Control Laws
Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
