The Production Control Analysts will report and compile records about production quality, cost, materials received, and shipped materials. They log production rates — documenting technical and operational procedures, as well as evaluate production performance.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for creating and managing the Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) process.
· Assist with developing the Master Schedule for all products.
· Works closely with the Operations & Planning Manager (OPM) on the SOP process and monitors all builds and shipments to maintain 100% on time delivery to customers.
· Maintains direct communications with the customers on deliveries and forecasted requirements ensuring appropriate plans are developed.
· Assist OPM with providing plans to all staff on upcoming requirements, capacity, and manpower.
· Provides forecast to OPM on upcoming build, shipment plans, and finished goods inventory levels once each month at minimum
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Degree in Business/Management, Supply Management, Engineering and/or Accounting require
· (BS) or equivalent, with 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Understanding of cost systems and the data drivers.
· Experience with scheduling materials, manpower and equipment for a production operation using an ERP system.
· Knowledge of parts distribution systems and parts terminology.
· Performs more complex functions, understands principles, and may teach others.
· Understanding of various business functions (engineering, quality, manufacturing, material procurement, order fulfillment, logistics, marketing, etc.).
· Knowledge of management systems, customer/channel partner/dealer/retail partner needs and values, distribution systems, supplier networks and/or marketing.
· Strong Excel Skills. Examples- Pivot tables, formulas, and macros preferred
