The Job Responsibilities
- All aspects of a software program lifecycle from start to finish. This includes identifying and managing software deliverables per Draeger software lifecycle process, ensuring this process is followed as well as management of the associated software development plan.
- Leading a software program team that is made up of other cross functional disciplines as part of a cross functional team to establish plans, milestones and needs for each milestone and communicate these plans to the software organization. Identify gas and needs and do what is needed to move the software development effort forward.
- Managing related software programs timelines and resources collaborating with cross functional team for consistency against timelines and deliverables.
- Manage delivering on crucial phase gates of a software program including software quality deliverables.
- Providing software programs progress updates to the management team using consistent department metrics
- Work with software engineering staff to ensure clear and consistent software program deliverables such as software requirements, verification tests, defect management, software detailed design documentation, software releases, and other related software design history artifacts. Communicate these issues using appropriate software department metrics.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned
Your Qualifications
- BS in Science/Engineering; MS a plus
- 10 years of experience in product development program management
- Experience in the medical device industry
- PMP/PgMP Certification in program management and knowledge in Iterative software development techniques
- Ability to analyze project constraints and implement risk mitigation
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Attention to quality in all activities and initiatives
- Experience working with cross functional teams across multiple geographic locations
- Ability to relate well and establish credibility with senior leadership
- Strong decision-making skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
