Part to Full Time, Surgical/Pre-op/PACU Nurse with Interest in Aesthetics
Private Plastic Surgery Center is seeking a motivated RN with OR Circulator, Pre-Op, PACU skills, and an interest in lasers and other aesthetic procedures. Nurse will work in surgical suite as well as spa side of the practice seeing surgical post ops and providing laser and energy based treatments such as Coolsculpting, Emsculpt NEO, Laser Hair Removal, Halo, Moxi, BBL, diVa, and more.
The Surgical RN role includes chart review, assessment , pre-op intake, Surgical Circulator and PACU care for adult patients receiving aesthetic surgery. RN Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. May have additional responsibilities as designated by the Physician or Nurse Manager, which include, but are not limited to participating in quality improvement audits and projects, compiling documentation for and preparing for inspections and certifications.
Laser and Aesthetics: The practice will provide training for lasers and energy based devices. We are looking for an energetic and people oriented nurse that can connect with our patients and provide excellent care both on the surgical and the spa side of the practice.
Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Currently licensed in the state. CPR required, advanced life support certification required. One year experience required intra-operative setting. Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.

The OR circulator will be responsible for checking needed supplies and preparing room for specific patient and procedure. Assist in transporting patient to the OR and check the patient record for appropriate pre-op preparation and procedures. Complete documentation in the OR, direct proper care of instruments, supplies, sterilization, and storage of equipment. Supervise and assist with the proper, safe positioning of the patient. Perform counts in the OR, secure emergency equipment and supplies as needed. Ideal candidate will have Pre-Op and PACU experience and be able to assist in those functions
Must have at least one year of OR experience.
Experience in Plastics preferred.
