The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our trucking company. This role involves managing key aspects such as dispatch, load planning, safety and fleet maintenance to ensure seamless operations and the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Efficiently allocate resources to meet delivery schedules and customer demands.
- Coordinate with drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods.
- Monitor real-time tracking systems to address any deviations from planned routes.
- Collaborate with the warehouse to develop effective load plans.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Oversee the maintenance schedule for the company’s fleet of trucks.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all vehicles are in optimal condition.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Investigate and address any safety incidents or violations promptly.

Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
- Proven experience in trucking operations management, with a focus on dispatch, load planning, safety and fleet maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
- Proficient in Roads Rocket, Samsara, and Microsoft Office.
