Drama Kids is a children's enrichment program where we use drama elements to help develop our students' imagination and creativity, literacy skills, public speaking, leadership/teamwork and acting abilities, while building their confidence and social/emotional skills learned in a fun and professional atmosphere.

We are looking for PART TIME caring, fun and motivated teachers who are passionate about developing children to join our growing team. Our teachers believe in what they do and that they can affect positive change every day. Their energy and enthusiasm encourages kids to become the best communicators they can be! Our goal is to develop kids who are able to strive and thrive as the 21st century unfolds.
As a member of our great team you will:
· Work 6-30 hours per week in the afternoons and early evenings. Teachers may have additional hours like mornings for preschools, or weekends for community classes. Compensation includes travel and curriculum prep time. Administrative, training and aftercare rate is $15/hour.
· Teach and mentor students from 4 to 18 years of age. Primarily ages 6-11.
· Follow provided world renowned lesson plans on speech, movement & acting
· Direct short plays (priority for musical theater directors)
· Build relationships with parents and students
· Deliver presentations
· Foster relationships with local schools
· Attend training and monthly staff meetings
· Have potential to do additional administrative and marketing work/projects
We are looking for people that:
· Have a heart for kids! Patience and kindness are mandatory.
· Are looking for a very part-time and fun opportunity with the potential of full-time in coming years.
· Have actual teaching experience and excellent classroom management skills including experience with special needs students. College degree preferred.
· Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Have HIGH ENERGY. Able to sit on the floor and jump around with the kids. Physical requirements may include moving chairs, sets, props, backdrops and carrying items to and from the car.
· Have afternoons available, and can be flexible with your schedule.
· Are willing and able to commit for at least one school year.
· Have reliable transportation and are willing to drive to various schools and community centers.

Pay: $20.00 - $60.00 per hour
