What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at DRE Workforce?
Summary - On-Site Supervisor coordinates temporary employees at the client location. Provide staffing support service to the client. On-Site Supervisor submits qualified candidates to hiring authorities, coordinate interview schedules, and interviews candidates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Responsible for interviewing, screening and testing potential associates for placement at onsite location as permitted by client to fulfill client request 100%.
- Fill orders upon clients needs with the best possible candidate, if necessary contact service branch office for assistance to complete fulfillment.
- Conduct orientation on company policies, introduction on company procedures and provide employee’s with the proper PPE as required.
- Consistently conduct safety walks throughout facility to ensure safety practices are in place and a safety work environment
- Report any unsafe acts to client management.
- Complete safety observation report and submit to Safety Director, Branch Manager and Account Executive.
- Provide employee orientations to all new hires regarding client site job requirements.
- Ability to interact effectively with client management on a daily basis, address any issues and concerns immediately.
- Communicate with branch manager, account executive and management accordingly.
- Maintaining computer data information accurately for clients and associates using time and attendance tracking system, become familiar with completion of injury reports and process.
- Generate payroll reports, editing, and entering employee’s time in database for check processing, forward final payroll to manager on a weekly basis with client approval.
- Answer high volume of calls during the day.
- Cell phone voice mails needs to be in a professional manner or in a customer/client oriented setting.
- Responsible for overall performance of assigned work group, including timekeeping, safety, quality, and counseling/coaching employees
- Actively support customer and company programs and goals
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Drive talent development and product knowledge
- Provide for effective associate relations within manufacturing facility by ensuring that all employment laws and practices are fair and consistent
- Ensure adherence to standard work, including facility work rules, especially in regard to good manufacturing practices and food safety
- Serve as primary communication liaison between company and customer, working closely with customer’s leadership team and production employee
Experience:
- Previous supervising or staffing experience (HUGE PLUS!)
- Must have basic math, calculation and previous payroll experience
Skills:
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills a must
- Bilingual abilities a plus
- Frequent twisting, turning, and bending
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time while working
- Ability to work with diverse group of employees
- Must be self-motivated, results and action oriented
- Ability to make independent and sound decisions
- Must possess sound interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to work all shifts
- Demonstrated proficiency using MS Office products, especially Outlook
- Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills
- Ability to implement change to support customer/company vision or direction

Shift:
- 2nd Shift
- 4:30PM-1:15AM (Monday-Friday & weekends/OT as needed)
