This position will report to the IT Manager of DreamMaker Spas.
POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Generalist will oversee multiple areas of our IT infrastructure (systems and network administration, IT support, analysis, and design.) This position will plan and deliver staff support including installation, analysis, troubleshooting, and user assistance and training. Tasks will include diagnosing and resolving problems in response to in-house incidents, researching trends and patterns of problems, developing training materials and performing training sessions, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software, monitoring backup operations, consulting with users to identify needs and requirements, and ensuring rigorous application of information security policies and practices. This position will also have the potential to assist with ERP, data warehousing, and reporting projects within the organization.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate equipment, components, and software for use in our manufacturing environment
- Maintain network devices, server hardware, operating systems, and other equipment
- Assist in the development of plans for deployment and lifecycle of systems
- Provide technical guidance to in-house team members
- Provide technical support of workstations
- Assist with user account administration, file management, backup/recovery plan, Microsoft Office deployment, etc.
- Assist with helpdesk and support related incidents relating to systems and infrastructure
- Develop and execute testing plans
- Experience working within and managing SQL databases a plus
- VMWare knowledge/certification a plus

QUALIFICATIONS
· Associates / Bachelor’s degree in IT major or related field
· 3-5 years of relevant experience
