Job Location:    PA - Donegal, PA
Salary Range:    $18.00 Hourly

Description

POSITION PURPOSE:

  • The Behavioral Health Tech. (BHT) is expected to understand and implement individual treatment plans, record patient behavior and provide a safe, supportive environment for the patients. Technicians may provide and record patient medications and assisting in daily activities.

Qualifications


EDUCATION:    

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  Additional training as a Driver.

EXPERIENCE:    

  • A minimum of 2 years Client Driver Experience

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:    

  • Maintains current CPR certification.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:    

  • Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.
  • Knowledge of Detox and Substance Abuse.
  • Demonstrates Proficiency in Verbal and in Written Communication Skills.
  • Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.
  • Knowledge of  Drug-Free Workplace Policies
  • Knowledge of Workplace Violence Prevention
  • Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Compliance Program
  • Knowledge of Safety Management / Infection / Risk Management.
  • Proficient in all areas of personnel management.
