Duties and Responsibilities
The Content Coordinator will be responsible for proofreading, editing, and posting a variety of deliverables, including social media content, blogs, landing pages, and email marketing materials. They will ensure that content is written in accordance with client brand guidelines and SEO best practices and delivered within promised timelines. Duties may also include posting to clients’ social media accounts, basic opting in WordPress, and other tasks that support the digital operations team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate interested in gaining experience in content marketing, SEO, and social media management.
Proofread and edit web and social copy created within client brand guidelines
Research and develop a knowledge of industry-specific terminology
Work collaboratively with Social Media, SEO, Accounts, and Design departments to ensure smooth delivery of completed projects within desired time frames
Contribute to overall Content team success
Strategize with Content Services Manager to develop high-quality web content


Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
  • Exceptional proofreading, editing, and time management skills
  • Ability to edit in accordance with the style, tone, and voice of our clients
  • Ability to identify and rephrase grammatical errors to ensure an error-free text
  • Experience with social media marketing a plus, though not required
  • Experience with WordPress and some SEO knowledge a plus, though not required
  • Experience with AP style a plus, though not required
  • Excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, dynamic environment

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, media communications, or related field
  • Relevant experience editing and proofreading content
  • Relevant experience with social media platforms, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
  • Knowledge of standard proofreading practices, procedures, and concepts is required
