Position Summary:
The Metadata Specialist is primarily responsible for the tracking and maintenance of Video metadata and assets across all Dreamscape publishers and trade partners. This individual will be responsible for the quality and accuracy of title-level metadata and maintaining detailed and accurate delivery records to digital outlets ensuring all titles are ingested properly and we fulfill delivery with enough lead time so titles are ready to go-live prior to scheduled release dates.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the flawless transfer of Dreamscape video metadata and assets to all physical and digital partners.

Maintain accurate delivery log records and accurate asset tracking for assets sent to digital partners.

Maintain up-to-date and accurate data with our physical and digital video customers.

Fulfill delivery of digital assets for standalone digital purchases and fulfill requests for author and publisher samples.

Manage the storage limits on network drives and routinely transfer data to AWS to keep healthy operating margins on local drives.

Maintain accurate metadata records that meet or exceed industry standards within our database for all products.

Notify digital platforms and physical customers with title data updates, schedule and metadata information changes and cancellation of titles.

Ensure gratis video requests are handled in a timely manner.

Run a weekly tracker meeting to bring together all departments to coordinate the release of titles.

Monitor the Dreamscape titles on all partner platforms to ensure every title is posted accurately with correct artwork.
Skills:

Familiarity with Mac OS, iOS and Windows platforms

Familiarity with Outlook and advanced excel knowledge

Preferred Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Experience:

3-5 years of experience in operations, logistics or analyst role

Knowledge of CoreSource database

Knowledge of ONIX metadata records
