Mission of the Role:

This role will work to improve client website performance at an advanced and comprehensive level. It will provide onsite optimization services related to page titles, URLs, structured data, meta descriptions, redirects, internal link structures, SEO copy editing, and sitemaps review/maintenance. This role will also provide technical SEO services, including site audits, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and recommendations on web page structure as it relates to SEO.

In addition to strategy, this role will be responsible for completing in-depth keyword research and competitive analyses. This role will leverage this research to work with the client and Ads department to create cohesive keyword strategy between paid and organic.

Outcomes We’ll Expect:

• Increase client retention by providing subject matter expertise, proactive research and keeping clients on board beyond their original contract dates
• Increase key conversions from the campaign start (baseline) or identify/recommend client requirements needed to meet monthly performance goals
• Provide relevant, attainable, and strategic keywords to clients. Monitor and report on movement month-over-month and provide new strategy if growth is not meeting expectations.
• Complete timely research, audits, and technical implementations to meet campaign deadlines and milestone targets

Competencies You’ll Need:

• Experienced - You’ve failed before and you know why. You know success through trial and error and have supported a wide range of clients on their way to success within digital marketing.
• Collaborative - Work with internal teams to create & execute a marketing strategy for clients to grow their website traffic, increase search rankings, and bring in targeted leads to prove our value proposition.
• Creativity - Marketing isn’t an exact science. Having the ability to be resourceful, learn about your client, and be creative with solutions will be critical.
• Passionate - You enjoy learning new technologies, trends, and techniques you can implement into campaigns to bring success to your clients.

• Flexibility – You experience creating and executing successful marketing strategies alone or with teams. You have the ability to work with cross-functional teams while remaining calm, collected and committed.
• Structure - disciplined, and organized in creating supporting, and developing new operational processes to ensure a consistent, repeatable outcome.
• Accountability – the ability to take ownership and responsibility for yourself, your team, and your outcomes.

Qualifications You Should Have:

• 2 years of hands-on technical (On Off-site) SEO
• Experience managing multiple SEO clients in an agency environment / simultaneously.
• Proficient in digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Knowledge of multiple CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
• Experience in reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Google Analytics/Console, Bing Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, AHREF).
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript is preferred.

Annual Salary:            

• $65,000-$90,000
