The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our dynamic team.
The candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth for our digital marketing agency and
the DRINKS App. Their primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities and
closing deals with prospective clients. To excel in this role, the candidate should have a strong
background in sales within a digital marketing agency and possess knowledge of digital
marketing channels, especially within the Shopify ecosystem.
A successful candidate should possess a blend of sales expertise, digital marketing knowledge,
relationship-building skills, leadership abilities, and analytical proficiency to drive sales growth
and contribute to the agency's success. This position is a regular, full-time, exempt position.
DRINKS is home-based in Los Angeles; however, we are now a remote-first company.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed company targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively prospect potential clients.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through lead generation and qualification.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our digital
- marketing services.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring maximum profitability and customer
- satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service and establish long-term relationships with clients.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a weekly
- and monthly basis.
- Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports to the President and other
- stakeholders.
- Identify areas for improvement in the sales process and implement necessary changes.
- Optimize inbound and outbound sales funnels to increase conversion rates and revenue.
- Collaborate with the VP, Agency Operations Lead, and other department heads to
- identify target markets and refine sales strategies.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
About You
- 2 years of professional experience in sales within a digital marketing agency.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels (Email, SMS, Content, SEO, Paid Ads,
- Web).
- Familiarity with Shopify and Shopify Plus is highly desirable.
- Self-starter with a hunger for success and a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex
- topics for clients.
- Strong leadership abilities, able to motivate and guide a sales team.
- Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
- High level of integrity and a commitment to ethical business practices.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to go above and beyond to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Proficient in using sales and CRM software.
Primary Location: Los Angeles, CA
Primary Location Compensation Range: $95,000-$105,000/yr.
