Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our IV clinic, ensuring high standards of patient care, and managing a team of nursing staff. The role includes both clinical and administrative duties, focusing on patient satisfaction, staff development, and efficient clinic operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for delivering top-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Staff Management:
- Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and policies.
- Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and high morale.
2. Clinical Operations:
- Oversee the administration of IV/IM therapies, ensuring patient safety and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including assessing patient needs and creating personalized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of treatments and outcomes.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Conduct regular audits of clinic practices, equipment, and medications.
4. Patient Care and Satisfaction:
- Address patient concerns and feedback, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Educate patients and their families on IV/IM treatments, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall patient experience.
5. Administrative Duties:
- Assist in managing the clinic’s budget, including monitoring expenses, ordering supplies, managing inventory, and running monthly reports.
- Schedule staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage for all clinic hours.
- Payroll management; oversee accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, including deductions, benefits, commission, gratuities and compliance with all applicable labor laws.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director to develop and implement clinic policies and procedures.
- Tracking package and membership growth and overall customer experience.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain open and effective communication with the President/COO and other stakeholders.
- Participate in community outreach and marketing efforts to promote clinic services.
Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Current RN license in Michigan.
- BLS certification required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Previous experience in an IV therapy clinic or similar healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Zenoti Med Spa software preferred or other full-service Healthcare CRM.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and calmness.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
