That’s Nice, But What’s the Job? In short, the Corporate Claims Coordinator is responsible for the intake, review and resolution of auto and property damage claims. In long, you will: The Coordinator works closely with internal teams, insurance carriers and TPAs to ensure timeliness of incident reporting and to collect other details necessary for the investigation and resolution of physical damage claims. Information collected can include, but is not limited to, employee statements, pictures, police reports, third party contact information and any additional details relevant to the loss. The Coordinator is responsible to follow a regular schedule for incident review and must thoroughly document their incident handling progress and final resolution with the incident management system. Reviews incident reports to investigate losses and seeks timely resolution of claims for all damages to vehicles prior to being sold to customers or DriveTime property. Independently determine whether an incident shall be self-administered or reported to Carrier. Secure and organizes pertinent information collected during incident reporting and incident investigation and fully documents incident handling and claim coordination progress within the incident management system. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal groups and external providers in order to achieve appropriate claim resolution. Coordinate Subrogation funds from at-fault parties. Analyze trends and provide recommendations to prevent or reduce incidents. What you should know/have Bachelor degree preferred Experience working in multiple systems in a high volume environment Microsoft Excel experience Must have experience with and demonstrate effective communication via email, phone or in person with leadership and employees throughout the organization. Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered Nice To Haves Experience with Subrogation, Project Management, Claims Intake or Risk Management. 1-2 years of experience handling insurance claims (preferred) So What Kind of Folks Are We Looking for?
