DroneUp is seeking a Hub Leader to lead a Hub Operations team in the Orlando area. Hub Leaders must demonstrate successful leadership ability while focusing on excellence and consistent execution of DroneUp standards. Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of daily operations
- Maintain a culture of excellence at the Hub
- Support OKR-setting, ongoing monitoring, and governance for Hub operations
- Work collaboratively with flight operations leadership to identify project tracking metrics and progress towards new goals, both short and long term
- Contribute subject matter expertise on aviation operations to the flight operations team in various forums
- Ensure operations are conducted to meet safety and compliance standards
- Monitor and report on daily, weekly and monthly performance trends
- Support the hiring and development of the Hub staff
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience leading teams and developing talent to support growth
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing and sometimes stressful environment
- Part 107 Certification or the ability to obtain within 3 months of hire date required
- Experience in a mature, large scale aviation or drone operation required
- Demonstrated ability to manage a culture and ensure standards are met
- Solid experience interviewing and talent selection
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that will often include weekends and closing shifts
