What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hostess/Busser position at Drunken crab?
This position will report directly to the Lead Hostess/busser and operate as a member of the host/hostess team. The responsibilities of the Hostess/busser position include greeting customers, seating them at tables, presenting menus and taking food and beverage orders. The successful candidate will possess excellent guest interaction skills, demonstrate a willingness to learn, be able to work weekends (when necessary) and have previous waitstaff experience.
Responsibilities:
- Ask the kitchen staff for items that are not on the menu.
- Make suggestions to the head chef.
- Take orders from customers and deliver them to the kitchen staff.
- Handle complaints from customers.
- Be friendly to customers and co-workers.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
