Job Summary:
Coordinates and promotes all programs at the Drury GO campus and the surrounding area. Collaborates on each semester’s class schedule and recruitment, hiring, and evaluation of faculty; manages recruitment and enrollment; assists students and faculty; engages in outreach and markets programs through media and by meeting with prospective students, local business and industry representatives, and other community leaders. Maintains office hours for academic and enrollment advising. Works with the Southwest Regional Director and CAMP Director to develop and implement strategies for recruiting students to the online and seated modalities of Drury GO, responsible for meeting established inquiry and enrollment goals (for both NWA and CAMP), works with relevant advisors, directors and coordinators to ensure students make a smooth entry in the Drury GO programs.

  • Promotes and markets CAMP program alongside Drury GO degrees, certificates and non-credit programs within the Drury GO campus community and the surrounding area as directed by CAMP Director and Regional Director, including, but not limited to:
    • Involvement in area community organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, Migrant Education, civic groups, and business networking groups.
    • Meeting with employers in the area to update them on programs and distribute information to employees.
    • Investigating ways to reach the community by enhancing mass marketing efforts through public relations, networking, and events.
    • Communicating regularly with the Director of Marketing for Drury GO to coordinate efforts in conjunction with overall Drury GO marketing plan.

  • Assists current and prospective students at the Drury GO campus through the provision of correct, up-to-date information and support. Provides academic and enrollment advising using current catalog, schedule, and core requirement sheets. Assists students with the selection of courses based on previous college work and/or new student status. Provides information about college programs and policies as well as financial aid programs. Assists with student loan default prevention efforts. Assists with accurate completion of registration forms, including entry of information into the university database, and all other supporting documentation. Makes certain that all paperwork is routed in the proper manner to the appropriate place.

  • Responsible for the administration of the branch campus programs:
    • Schedules all classes by coordinating with Academics and the EVP of Drury GO and by soliciting input from students and faculty.
    • Collaborates with Director of Faculty Services to recruit qualified faculty. Assists Academics with the preparation and delivery of classes by providing information, equipment, and supplies. Allows students to evaluate instructors and provides feedback to instructors, giving them guidance for the future delivery of classes.
    • Supervises budget for branch campus.

  • Initiates and collaborates with CAMP staff with promotion of programs for migrant students, where applicable.
  • Responsible for creation and implementation of recruitment and marketing strategies with CAMP Director and Regional Director. Responsible for working with existing articulation partners and identifying new potential partners, and for fostering those relationships with Drury GO and CAMP.
  • Foster a collaborative approach to recruitment to address the diverse student population of Drury GO, including migrant, first-generation, online only, military, and non-traditional students.
  • Monitors lead generation activities, makes initial contact with migrant contacts, community college administrators and advisors and prospective students. Attends advisor meetings and trainings.
  • Participates in the training for JRM, Salesforce and other systems to improve planning and tracking of recruitment; Participates in Drury GO, CAMP and campus-wide enrollment initiatives as directed by the Regional Director and CAMP Director.
  • Implements retention and default-prevention efforts as may be directed by University.
  • Attends high school fairs, transfer fairs, job fairs, Chamber of Commerce events and other social and professional functions when appropriate. Foster interaction and engagement between the university, students, families, and the greater community, and communicate and build an emphasis on higher education.
  • Work closely with CAMP Director in collecting documentation for CAMP eligibility.
  • Travel and attend professional development conferences when necessary.
  • Performs other tasks as requested.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to work effectively with the public.
  • Ability to concentrate and attention to detail are necessary in order to have accurate information on degree requirements and college policies.
  • Ability to set goals, prioritize, and organize tasks and workload in order to complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including courtesy and tact, are required in order to deal effectively with students and faculty.
  • Ability to answer and place telephone calls, and to provide information to prospective and current students.
  • Spelling and grammar skills, normally used in daily correspondence with students and faculty, are necessary to communicate correct information.
  • Ability to present a professional and neat appearance for greeting and working with prospective students and faculty.
  • Ability to solve problems and to think critically and independently for organizing and completing workload.
  • Ability to handle deadlines and stressful situations in a calm, orderly, and accurate manner.
  • Valid driver license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to locations in the geographical area served.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and successful progress toward the achievement of a master’s degree within a reasonable period of time; Master’s degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of related experience

Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the college's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Physical Requirements:
