SUMMARY:
The virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) position is a client-facing key role in our service delivery to our clients. The vCIO is considered an executive partner to Integris’ clients and works directly with Client's management team to understand their business needs and how technology can help them best achieve these needs. vCIO’s duties include formulating strategic IT goals, planning the IT budget, analyzing and reworking business processes and facilitating technology changes. The vCIO also works closely with Integris' internal teams to make sure the client is aligned to business standards through Technology Business Reviews and infrastructure improvement projects. The vCIO is critical in helping clients mitigate risk and increase productivity.
This position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relations with co-workers and clients, including the ability to work with and communicate with employees of all levels. Successful vCIO understands how technology can empower Integris’ clients in their day-to-day operations and is able to formulate the most appropriate roadmap for the business, while keeping operational efficiency in mind, as well as cost and overall fit. It requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organization and follow through is crucial to the success of this position.
JOB DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND COMPENTENCIES:
The vCIO will support Integris’s clients. This would include knowledge and skills in some the following areas:
- Primary relationship manager with Integris’ clients - Build and maintain a positive trusting relationship with clients.
- Provide highly impactful and strategic consultative services to clients regarding additional ways that can resolve or improve the client’s IT experience, productivity, or additional network security. Use support of other team members as necessary.
- At least quarterly, meet with all assigned clients to create, review and/or update technology strategy, budget and service delivery metrics.
- Quarterback all critical client communications – project status, major issue handling, VIP handling
- Work with Integris’ technical team to understand the status of day-to-day operations, analyze output and make suggestions to service delivery leaders to adjust operations accordingly.
- Create and update standard Integris’ documentation for all client sites, networks and relevant systems. Use support of other team members as necessary.
- Monitor network health, analyze and proactively report to the client on areas of improvement.
- Understand Integris’ products and services and promote growth of Integris’s revenue product base as it fits within the client’s needs.
- Work with client on maintaining an environment where the hardware, software and licensing are under current maintenance and support contracts.
- Regularly perform risk assessments to stay ahead of client satisfaction issues and help manage and mediate overall risk level of the client success team.
- Ensure client receives appropriate Integris quotes associated with forecasting and annual goals.
- Monitor client agreements and ensure they are properly designed and implemented in alignment with the Integris’ best practices (agreement utilization and gross margins).
- Create exceptional experience to all clients and end-users by ensuring and verifying high quality and efficiency of support.
- Understand and remediate consequences of work that has not been executed as expected.
- Ensure no request was left unanswered and SLA for all requests tickets is met.
- Ensure all work is documented and tracked real-time in ConnectWise.
- Meet assigned metrics and KPIs.
Work closely with co-workers to ensure development, optimization and implementation of strong solutions:
- Research emerging technologies and recommend use
- Collaborate with co-workers to resolve any problems/situations that may arise
- Assist in the development of cost benefit analysis for different solutions
- Document all work completely and accurately, including solution recommendations and resulting process and procedure documentation in all appropriate Integris applications
- Communicate to both internal and external clients with the highest level of customer service, proactive status, and in a timely and accurate manner
- Recommend changes that are needed to method, process, hardware/software, applications, reporting, technologies and integrations to provide a better working environment for end-user
Responsible for personal and professional development to ensure continued growth, development, and ability to assist with leading Integris and co-workers in the future with the development of technology and business trends:
- Keep current with emerging technologies and how they fit in with Integris and its clients

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Job qualifications:
- Strong background in management of business technology systems, budgeting and strategic planning
- Proven track record in ability to create and maintain healthy relationships with clients and internal teams
- A high level of communication and organizational skills
- Education: Degree in business or information systems or equivalent education/experience preferred.
