What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revenue Manager position at DTM Executive Search, Inc.?
Immediate need for a Revenue Manager to provide continuous support to the finance department, internal financial reporting and maintaining general ledger account reconciliations. The Revenue Manager must demonstrate strong interpersonal and professional communication skills with internal and external customers, be deadline driven and detail oriented. Revenue Manager must be comfortable communicating with all members of the organization as well as with the organization’s external customers and clients. Lastly, the Revenue Manager must be able to work independently and in group settings in a timely manner.

Duties include but not limited to:
- Perform variance analysis and financial reporting with P&L and Balance Sheet schedules
- Prepare cash distribution schedules to customers following all payment remittance reconciliations
- Prepare sales reports, payment remittances from multiple sales platforms
- Prepare accounting entries to record intercompany transactions (due to / due from)
- Process revenue billings, prepare cost of sales schedules and similar customer expense related schedules to analyze revenue performance
- Accurately record and review monthly sales transactions by category and customer
- Calculate and process monthly customer billing activity and maintain accurate P&L accrued revenue and accrued expense schedules for cash flow forecasting
- Record sales tax for payment release to jurisdictions
- Actively communicate with customs and brokerage team relating to customer fees and export taxes for international operations
- Prepare and reconcile payment transfers for treasury to release to appropriate agencies for export taxes
- Propose and implement improvements to existing accounting processes
- Special projects as requested
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Must have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, HLOOKUP’s, Advanced formulas)
- 3-5 years of related accounting/finance experience working for small to mid-sized ecommerce or online retail companies.
- Must have working knowledge of general ledger debits / credits accounting workflow
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to effectively and efficiently read and write in English
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable reviewing contracts, extracting key information and understands the importance of building and maintaining customer relationships
