About The Job
Dudek is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in environmental health and safety and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain OSHA Log and all appropriate documentation
- Coordinating to ensure that OSHA reporting, metrics, and logs are posted at every Dudek Office.
- Tracking metrics and ensuring compliance with the Safety Dashboard, including Good Catch, Near Miss, First-aid, Recordables, and MVIs.
- Conducting incident investigations (e.g., injuries, incidents, MVI’s, good catch/near miss) for various practices. This includes the investigation process, partnering with HR (as needed), and completing investigation reports.
- Inputting and maintaining data and trainings on client portals.
- Coordinating with HR and Insurance regarding Incidents.
- Tracking training requirements on client portals and assigning training as needed.
- Updating client portals. This includes weekly/monthly updates, program development, questionnaires, and client-specific requirements.
- Assist in EHS program development, review, and implementation.
- Strong understanding of project paperwork and requirements.
- Good problem solving skills in dynamic and evolving safety culture.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 years of experience in environmental health and safety field.
- Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Basic understanding of Hazard recognition, controls, and program implementation.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field
- OSHA Certifications
- OSHA 510
- OSHA 30 Hour
- HAZWOPER
- Associates Degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
Physical Requirements
Working Conditions:
- This job requires occasional project site visits-based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles and equipment.

Proposed Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000
*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
