Job Overview
The Office Admin is responsible for managing an assigned account portfolio to ensure timely collection of past due amounts, assist in resolution of billing, and customer issues while minimizing bad debts. This will be accomplished through direct contact with customers on past due amounts while providing the highest level of customer service.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain strong internal and external customer relations.
- Achieve daily call volume goals
- Identify and negotiate payment arrangements on past due balances within collection guidelines and laws.
- Provide updates by identifying any issues impacting collections, reason for being past due and action being taken to collect or resolve a dispute
- Offer solutions to customers who are having problems and collection objections.
Basic Qualifications
- 1-3 years of collections/credit experience
- Experience in handling a large volume small dollar portfolio with outbound call goals.
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized
- PC and MS Office Proficiency (Excel / Word / Outlook)
- Efficient time management in order to handle multiple projects simultaneously including prioritizing, organizing and planning effectively to meet all deadlines
- Ability to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team
- Self-motivated, with a proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience with Global Edge or other ERP software preferred
