Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and creative Events & Marketing Coordinator to join our team and oversee event planning / execution and marketing efforts across our five casual and dynamic locations in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for curating unforgettable experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events at each of our five locations, ranging from private parties and corporate gatherings to themed nights and community events.
- Collaborate with team, including management teams and culinary staff, to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage event logistics, including venue setup, catering arrangements, entertainment bookings, and audiovisual requirements.
- Perform outreach to solicit new business across various channels
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local partners to enhance event offerings and streamline operations.
- Implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to drive event attendance and increase brand awareness.
- Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reporting to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in event coordination, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Familiarity with Washington, DC, hospitality landscape is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
