WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Area Manager is responsible for providing managerial oversight and operation of a segment or portion of a segment of business. This position is also responsible for personnel, program, coordination of services and supports and the maintenance of high quality service and supports to vendors, persons served and other stake holders.
Duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assume a leadership role in the development and implementation of organizational philosophy, policies and procedures.
- Assuring that services are in compliance with licensure and regulation standards
- Assuring the ongoing presence of choices in the individuals lives
- Maintain responsibility for the management/supervision of all personnel in designated area
- Participate in development and implementation of comprehensive training program for personnel
- Be responsible for the budgetary/fiscal components of the programs.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services, or related field
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Have prior experience in providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities or a part of the Long Term Care system.
- Candidate must possess sound decision-making and communication skills, be responsible, mature, and flexible; and have prior management/supervisory experience.
