What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cake Decorator position at Dunkin' | Berliner Group?
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the production of cake and prepared ice cream treats.
- Maintain a beautiful and well stocked display case.
- Clean and sanitize all equipment, utensils, dishes, work areas, seating areas, and restrooms
- Adhere to all Baskin-Robbins dessert decorating quality standards, as well as safety and sanitation regulations.
- Prepare specialty cake orders.
- Manage cake, icing and decoration inventory.
- Prepare all cakes and ice cream treats to Baskin-Robbins specifications and standards.
- Help in the front of the store if it gets busy and your assistance is required.
- Provide excellent customer service to every customer
- Ensure all trash is disposed of timely and safely
- Meet or exceed attendance expectations
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety and sanitation guidelines and local and state laws
- Other duties as assigned
- Education and/or Experience
- Cake decorating experience, preferably with ice cream cakes and treats
- Creative and artistic abilities
- Proficient in use of all cake decorating tools and equipment
- Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Capable of counting money and making change
