Construction Foreman
Help build and modernize Delaware and Maryland’s fastest growing restaurant group. Our Construction Foreman is responsible for onsite supervision and acting as a foreman, working side by side with our in-house maintenance techs and contractors, in order to meet deadlines and maintain budgets. Oversee new constructions and renovations including interior and exterior finish work, drywall installation, painting, paneling, ceiling and floor tile, plumbing repairs, heating, and air conditioning system repairs. Critical thinking, adaptability, teamwork, stress tolerance and conflict management are key competencies.
- Must be Highly Proficient in Carpentry
- Must be highly Proficient in ACT/FRP and Framing
- Successful History of leading a crew on commercial projects.
- Perform interior and exterior finish work, such as drywall, painting, paneling, ceiling and floor tile, plumbing repairs, heating, and air conditioning system repairs.
- On call on a rotating emergency schedule for weekends and holidays
- Company provides Van.
- Onsite supervision of the daily construction tasks and adherence to daily goals.
- Work with the Project manager to maintain schedule and coordinate material deliveries.
- Meet with Inspectors
- Travel to and from assigned job sites, weekly oversite meetings
- Minimum 5-10 in commercial carpentry and superintendent roles.
- Possess good time management skills. For example, be able to handle a wide variety of tasks and demands in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of practices and procedures of construction and building codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
A Good Driving Record is a requirement for this position.
Competitive Salary: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 ($30.00 -$35.00 per hour) depending on experience.
