This role is primarily responsible for designing and developing new reports, validation and maintenance of existing reports and processes, advising internal partners on technical and analytical strategies to address issues, advancing existing reporting processes and serving on cross-organizational teams to support decision making within and outside our organization.

You’ll be:

  • Provide quality service to members, potential members and coworkers
  • Demonstrate teamwork and professionalism in all interactions with coworkers
  • Promote a professional image of the credit union at all times
  • Manage case management/ticketing system related to organizational data and report requests in accordance with determined service level agreements
  • Actively participate in the agile sprint process with both the Financial Data and Data Architecture teams to create an efficient, prioritized method for project completion
  • Write queries to return data from Microsoft SQL Server relational databases
  • Maintains and/or create documentation of report structures, source data, and information consumers
  • Utilizes a variety of reporting tools, including Microsoft SSRS, Microsoft Power BI, LogiAnalytics, and Excel and assist with devising new innovative reporting models and methods
  • Provides support to consumers of business data
  • Assist with creation and ongoing management of real-time, daily, monthly and quarterly management reporting of organizational data
  • Assist with maintaining validity and accuracy, while assisting with ongoing data validation, as well as assisting with identifying improvement opportunities in individualized departmental and personal dashboards tied to incentive goals tracking
  • Assist with improving report storage structure
  • Ability to understand underlying data, create and manage reports on demand for all departments
  • Assist with standardization of data presentation for the information consumer
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL query language, preferred
  • Experience with data presentation tools, including Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, and Excel, preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with strong written and verbal analytical skills, for both internal and external credit union communications and relations.
  • Resourceful and well organized with the ability to prioritize work assignments efficiently. Ability to accurately handle large volumes of details and multi-task effectively.
  • Demonstrate complex problem solving and strong decision-making skills
