Job Posting for Regional Strategic Credit Manager - North America at DuPont
The successful candidate will lead the customer Credit portfolio risk and term management activity for the Nutrition and Biosciences Business in North America.
The individual must have a business finance or credit background, process excellence focus and will partner with Global and Regional Business and Credit teams for alignment and execution of Credit strategic actions. This is a full time employee role at The New DuPont.
Manage customer credit risk at both the individual customer and portfolio level to drive profitable sales growth while minimizing customer bad debt
Partner with the Business commercial and finance teams to optimize customer terms meeting both Sales and Working Capital objectives
Develop customer financing initiatives partnering with the Treasury team and external bank partners in support of Business Sales growth
Collect and Analyze Accounts Receivable key attributes across the North America Nutrition and Biosciences Businesses to develop improvement programs for DSO reduction
Interact collaboratively with the customer collection and cash application teams as the key focal point for Credit, Collection and Cash Application escalations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, MBA preferred but not required
- 5+ years of experience in the area of Finance analysis. Business Finance and/or credit experience is a plus
- Accounting and Credit policies and practices
- Financial and Business analysis experience
- Ability to devise business focused solutions to deliver AR working capital targets
- Excel intermediate capability required to manage large data sets for analysis and action plan development
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work cross functionally and influence senior levels of the organization
