The Auto Adhesive & Fluids (AAF) Business is seeking a Regional Planner & Asset Scheduler. The person supports end-to-end Supply Chain Performance of the responsible value center to deliver a competitive advantage, partnering with regional business and operational managers to realize priorities, and acting as an active collaborator for the 0 to 24-month horizon supply and demand balance. As the asset scheduler, the person is also accountable for day-to-day activities required to create and maintain detailed production/supply schedules based on the master scheduling input or established pull signals. Acts as the point person between the supply organization and plant to clearly define / understand short term production issues and supply needs between the organizations
Responsibility of Regional Planner:
- Champions customer focus and service within Operations and Supply Chain managing processes in the region.
- Tracking supply performance of the value center in the region, identifies tactical options to 1) enhance SC performance, flexibility, reliability, quality, and competitive advantage and 2) reduce risk
- Leads Regional Supply Review as one key IBP step for the value center, develop and maintain supply demand balance. Confirms and highlights gaps or needs within the 24-month supply plan, including new product launches/developments relative to regional operations and product line management
- Supports the Working Capital processes across the business regional supply chains in support of business initiatives. First line of support and investigation for regional inventory management.
- Participates and suggests improvement initiatives, including tools and processes that accelerate improvement
- As needed supports the creation of effective new SC and product launch processes integrated with new product development priorities
- Cost management: Production wheel management, MTO/MTS analysis and leadership, supporting operations and technical on NFFU efforts.
- Crisis priority management within the region including informing the business supply chain manager and escalating as appropriate
- Co-ordinates the production planning with maintenance planning and scheduling needs
- Planning Master data management
Responsibilities of Asset Scheduler:
- Primary interface between manufacturing and supply chain. Works with manufacturing to optimize the plant schedule along with manufacturing capabilities within or around the frozen period. Balance and reconcile production in short term horizon to meet customer requirements. Issue detailed schedule for each asset based on a final time-phased production plan.
- Manage daily production schedules during frozen period (manual control).
- Valid detailed Daily Schedule and Material Availability against asset schedule. Communicate production issues, supply changes, deviations from plan and potential resolutions to appropriate parties
- Monitoring process orders & assuring closed as needed, accurate process orders are used to maintain system & data integrity
- Highlight and actively participate in the identification and resolution of inventory, customer order issues, and quality issues as they develop
- Manage performance standards and analysis methods to compare actual production performance against the established standard
- Valid Master data (supports and escalates issues with BOM, recipes, lead-times, etc.)
Competencies & Qualifications:

- Proficient in Excel
- Collaboration skills required
- BS/BA Supply Chain, business, or technical field is required
- APICS CPIM / CSCP is preferable, must be obtained on the job within 18 months
- SAP/ERP general competency or ability to learn quickly on the job
