We are currently seeking a highly strategic manufacturing Night Shift Production Supervisor in our Sparks, Nevada, site who will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of your team such as staffing, quality control and schedule adherence. You will be responsible for leading your team to SUCCESS! The schedule for this role is 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule.
You will bring your proven people leadership skills to coach, mentor and motivate your team while determining the best practices and implementing the practices on all shifts. You will be a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground, engaging and involved leader to your team. You will lead by example and ensure to hit targets (in order of priority) in safety, quality, service, cost, and production. Your problem-solving skills will be key in this role!
In this critical role, you must be able to build a team that is dedicated and committed to excellence, with open communication, where all team members have a voice. You will need to have 3-5 years of management/supervisor/lead experience and have a proven track record of leading direct reports.
As a Production Supervisor, you will need 3-5 years of production experience in manufacturing roles, having direct reports and shop floor accountability. Also, having a background in extrusion is a PLUS! You will need excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with multiple deadlines, demonstrating an ability to prioritizing between what is urgent and what is important. You will be results-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively deliver information, whether good or bad.
