What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Rep position at DuraSeal?
DuraSeal is seeking a driven, dedicated and reliable individual to drive the expansion of our rapidly growing company into Charleston, SC.
This territory will primarily be located in metro Charleston area. Additional opportunities to assist in the opening new markets will become available in the future.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be available to start training in mid-May and ready to run leads June 1st. Our hiring process is thorough, but moves quickly for the right candidate.
ABOUT YOU
You are an accomplished salesperson with the ability to work from your home office within your assigned territory, traveling to meet customers for 60-80 pre-set appointments per month. The ability to prospect and create self-generated leads is a plus, but not required. Previous experience with in-home sales is also a plus, but not required if you have a history of sales success, the ability to learn quickly, and the drive to perform at high levels.
You have a natural inclination to help people and provide honest advice. You have a clear, trustworthy voice while performing product demos and legible handwriting, so paperwork can be clearly understood by customers and support staff.
You hop out of bed each morning with the opportunity to generate sales and earn commissions every day, as our service has a short sales cycle. You are also organized to keep track of follow-ups to maximize every sales opportunity.
People consider you a leader and you treat your sales territory and customers as your own personal business. You are accustomed to tracking your sales results and metrics to improve effectiveness and improvement. While already operating at a high level, you understand and accept training and coaching as a source of constant growth.
You must have a verifiable history of earning $75,000 with a drive to surpass $150,000. We will provide the leads and sales training that will help you earn $10-15,000 in monthly commissions regularly.
Salespeople who fail to earn at a high level ($100,000 ) are not kept at DuraSeal, as our investment in marketing and generous compensation plan provides ample opportunity for selling. Our customer-focused administrative staff and operations teams handle the scheduling and installations, so you can focus on bringing in new work.

ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for honest, hard-working, dedicated men and women of integrity to grow with us to share in our success. This is a year-round career position, not a seasonal one. Schedules are flexible, but most weeks are M-F day hours with occasional Saturdays required.
This is a 1099 position with a progressive weekly commission structure and a year-end annual bonus based on performance. You are expected to provide your own reliable vehicle, a phone or camera and internet. Total target annual compensation is $100,000-$160,000 realistically each year. Growth opportunities are available for exceptional team members.
This is a single position for a specific large geographical territory. You will be running up to five appointments daily, meeting people in their homes to evaluate projects, measuring for estimates, and educating customers about our service. You will be responsible for keeping paperwork up to date and maintaining your own callback schedule. Our average estimators enjoy a 40% plus close rate, with a one-call close business model, so reps are consistently earning commissions on a daily basis.
