FMH Conveyors is searching for a Quality Technician, responsible for following established quality processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties as assigned.
- Apply and maintain quality systems, requirements, and standards for development and manufacturing products as well as data collection techniques and systems.
- Utilize corrective action forms and processes to identify root cause issues and determine the appropriate action.
- Utilize manufacturing process instructions (standardized work) and inspection verification sheets.
- Serve as the primary quality resource to department supervisor(s) for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
- Utilize established methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
- Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma
- Understanding of ERP/MRP systems.
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing quality experience
- Training in general safety, heavy and assembly manufacturing processes, foreign object, statistical analysis, and quality system awareness
- Report to management on quality issues, trends, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Create and deliver training material on quality standards and activities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Stand, walk, or be mobile for up to a 10-12-hour shift; ascend, squat, push and pull up to 100 lbs.; bend, twist and reach with hands and arms to feel objects, tools or controls, check and inspect product. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
