Cabinet Vision Designer – Salt Lake City, UT
-High School diploma or equivalent
-Must have a strong millwork background, 2 years related professionally
Must have 1 years’ experience using Cabinet Vision or Microvellum or 20/20 software
· Reports to Production Manager
· Job Summary: Supervises the companies drafting, detailing, and CNC router programming staff to ensure timely manufacturing of product to customer specifications
· Act as the primary contact and representative (under the direction of the Production Manager) for all Engineering related communication with the General Contractors, while prosecuting any and all tasks associated with the engineering scope of work. These tasks will include but not be limited to the following:
o Attend all Project Meetings, including but not limited to the following:
§ Hand-Off Meeting
§ Job-Site Meeting (Preconstruction Meeting)
§ Weekly Production Meetings
§ GC Required Sub Meetings (as directed by the Production Manager)
o Manages drafting sub-contractors to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
o Other duties which may be assigned on an as-required basis.
o Follows procedures in company handbook and other documents
o Demonstrates a professional attitude when approaching work assignments.
· Specific Responsibilities
o Review architectural drawings
o Prepare Submittal Package:
§ Create shop drawings
§ Ensure that Product Data Binders are timely and accurately created
§ Ensure that all material samples are professionally labeled and submitted
o Shop drawing review
o Perform material take-off
o Review and update red-line corrections to shop drawings
o Ensure accurate field measurements are taken and incorporated into shop drawings
o Manage cut-listing
§ Casework (Cabinetvision)
§ Specialty (AutoCAD)
o Create Work Orders in Visual and review with project team
o Ensure timely and accurate Work Order submissions to the shop

Pay: $39,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
